Innovations are of central importance for companies. This means that innovation projects can not only be used to develop new products and expand the sales market. New customers are also won in this way and competitiveness is increased. Inspirations for innovation projects are provided, for example, by the Innovation Day for SMEs of the BMWi (Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy), at which innovative products, services and procedures already promoted by the BMWi are presented.
When and where will the
event take place?
The Innovation Day for SMEs will take place
on 09 May 2019 in Berlin-Pankow. The exact venue is the outdoor area of the AiF
Projekt GmbH – so the Innovation Day is an open-air event. The venue is also
easily accessible by public transport, such as buses and trams. Parking is also
available in the surrounding streets.
The one-day
event starts at 10:00 and ends at 16:00. Admission for visitors starts at 09:00
a.m., exhibitors, on the other hand, will receive admission from 06:30 a.m.
onwards. Visits and participation are free of charge for both visitors and
exhibitors.
Who are the exhibitors?
As part of
the Innovation Day for SMEs, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), research institutions and
cooperation networks will present their
innovation projects that have already been implemented and which have been supported by the BMWi. The following
conditions also apply to the exhibition:
- The event is hosted by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi)
- The event is organised by AiF Projekt GmbH, which also acts as the BMWi project executing agency for ZIM cooperation projects
- More than 300 small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutions and cooperation networks from all over Germany will present their BMWi-funded innovation projects
Which innovation projects
will be presented at the Innovation Day?
Among other things, innovation projects that have been successfully implemented in the context of the BMWi programme Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand (ZIM) will be presented at the Innovationstag Mittelstand show. However, innovations resulting from other funding programmes will also be presented, for example innovation projects that have taken place within the framework of the Innovation Competence Programme (INNO-KOM). The Innovation Day for SMEs also offers guided tours, speed pitch sessions, information presentations and a get-together to round off the event. The exhibition is therefore not only suitable as a stimulus for planning and implementing your own innovation projects – it is also the ideal platform for networking and making contacts.
Who can participate in the
Innovation Day and is registration required?
In principle, all persons interested in technology promotion and other interested parties can participate in the Innovation Day for SMEs. Registration is not required to attend the event as a visitor. If, on the other hand, you are interested in taking part in the Innovation Day as an exhibitor, you can inform the project management organisation responsible for the project in question. The exhibitor then selects the potential exhibitors and informs the organiser, AiF Projekt GmbH, and the selected exhibitors themselves of his decision. Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) this is the ideal opportunity to present themselves and their successful innovation project to a broad mass of interested parties.
